Westside Ale Works is a family-owned and operated craft brewery tucked away on Alfred Street in South Melbourne. Partner and Head Brewer, Casey Wagner, pays homage to the microbreweries of the U.S. West Coast with everything he does - from the cozy atmosphere of our warehouse-style taproom to the hop-driven beers he brews. We take pride in creating a warm and welcoming experience for anyone who walks through our big roller door!

Our beer specialty typically includes styles like American Pale Ales, West Coast IPAs, American Sours, and Stouts. We also have been working on our barrel program which was launched in 2019 and soon to follow our Spirit program. There is always something on tap for everyone, including the non-beer drinkers with our house-made apple cider and house-distilled gin, whiskey and dark rum.
